This page I would like to show about How to configure Raid 5 on Windows Server 2019 VMware, I don't talk about the What is Raid 5 you should searching the meaning yourself, here I show only how to set up Raid 5 on Virtual Machine.
So the firstly, you need to add some Hard Disks to your machine to create Raid 5. To create Raid 5 you need at less 3 hard disks up. Now I have added 3 Hard Disks to a Windows Server 2019
To add disk you click to your machine click on Hard Disk => Add => Next and go to select Virtual Disk Type (SCSI) then click =>Next
Be careful here to select Add Hardware Wizard of disk you should select "Create a new virtual disk"
just it is not affect with space of your physical machine more and click => Next
After you select with the right of Virtual Disk already, below here you can add disk size up to you want 30GB, 50GB, 100GB and more, then click => Next
Now you can Set up the machine name that you want (Windows Server 2019) and => Finish. You can add Virtual Disk the same time that you want one by one.
As here, I have been added 3 New Virtual Hard Disk to my Windows Server 2019 then click OK
After you have added some Virtual Disks already, go to turn on the windows server 2019 of the Virtual machine and go to " Disk Management " to check all Disk online or offline, if it offline, turn on to online by right click on Disk part and click " Online "
Now when you make the Online all hard disk already, It is the time that we have to create Raid 5 for our Windows Server 2019
To create Raid 5, you just right click on the first Disk and Click on "New RAID-5 Volume" and => Next and Add select all Disks => Next
After that you can assign Drive Letter or Path for your Raid 5 =>Next
Go to window explore your Raid 5 that we have been created with 3 Hard Disks = 59.9GB
